2. What Data We Collect

When you place an order or contact us, we collect: Name, email address, shipping address, phone number (optional), payment information (processed securely, not stored by us), order history, support communications.

3. Why We Collect It (Legal Basis)

To: (a) Perform your purchase contract, (b) Comply with legal obligations (EU invoicing, tax requirements), (c) With your consent (marketing emails, newsletter), (d) Prevent fraud and secure transactions.

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

Order Data: 7 years (required for tax/invoicing purposes)
Email Subscribers: Until you unsubscribe
Support Inquiries: 2 years after resolution
Payment Info: Not stored (processed by PayPal/bank, deleted after transaction)

5. Data Processors & Third Parties

We use trusted service providers: Websupport.sk (web hosting, email), PayPal (payment processing), WP Mail SMTP (email delivery), Omnisend (email marketing), Google Analytics (analytics). All are contractually bound by data protection agreements.

Google Analytics & Google Signals. We use Google Analytics with Google Signals enabled. If you are signed in to a Google account with Ads Personalization turned on, Google may associate your visit with your Google account to provide us with aggregated analytics and demographic insights and to enable remarketing. No personally identifying data is shared with us. You can manage this in the “Ad settings” of your Google Account and through our cookie-consent banner, where you can decline analytics and marketing cookies.

Google Ads remarketing. With your marketing consent, we use the Google Ads remarketing tag to show you our ads on Google and partner websites. Without your consent, only cookieless, non-identifying consent signals are sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie-consent banner.

Email marketing (Omnisend). We use Omnisend to send marketing emails and cart-reminder emails. You are only added to our mailing list if you subscribe through our sign-up form (and confirm via the email we send you) or tick the unticked marketing box at checkout; you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email or by writing to info@maison-perfumes.com. If you accept marketing cookies, Omnisend’s scripts and cookies (for example omnisendSessionID) load on our site to show the sign-up form, recognise a returning visitor and link a started checkout to the email address you entered, so that we can send cart reminders to subscribers; without your marketing consent these scripts do not load. When you place an order, your order and contact details are passed to Omnisend to keep your customer record; this does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Omnisend acts as our data processor under a data processing agreement; data transfers outside the EU, if any, are covered by appropriate safeguards.

9. Children’s Data

Our service is not directed to minors under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. International Data Transfers

Your data is stored within the EU. No transfers to countries outside the EU without adequate safeguards.
