Marc-Antoine Barrois Tilia, created by perfumer Quentin Bisch, is named for the linden (lime blossom) tree and built around its honeyed, green-floral character. It opens with linden blossom, jasmine sambac and broom, moves into an orange blossom and heliotrope heart softened by vetiver, and finishes on a base of Ambrofix and Georgywood — modern, radiant, musky-woody molecules that give the whole composition a soft, sunlit glow. Tilia is designed to feel like a warm afternoon under a linden tree in bloom: green, honeyed, slightly powdery, and never heavy. It suits spring and summer especially, with the moderate-to-good sillage and pleasant longevity typical of Barrois's contemporary niche line, and works well on both men and women who want a fresh floral without excessive sweetness. A Maison decant (1/2/5/10 ml) lets you experience Tilia's linden-blossom signature before committing to the full bottle.
