Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman, created by perfumer Jordi Fernández, opens with pear, bergamot, mandarin orange and ginger — bright and slightly spicy — before moving into an orange blossom heart softened by Georgywood, a smooth cedar-derived molecule. The base combines musk, Ambrofix, Akigalawood and cedar for a clean, radiant, woody-ambery finish. Blue Talisman sits in the same modern-minimalist, high-tech-woods family as many contemporary niche releases: fresh enough for daytime, warm enough to carry into evening, with the good longevity and skin-close-to-moderate sillage typical of Ex Nihilo's Paris collection. It suits anyone who wants understated elegance over an obvious, loud signature scent, and works well across most seasons.
