Dior Ambre Nuit (2009) opens with bergamot and grapefruit, moves into a rose-and-pink-pepper heart, and settles into a rich amber base of ambergris, guaiac wood, cedar and patchouli. It is one of Dior's Maison Christian Dior exclusive-line orientals: warm, resinous and slightly spicy, built for cooler months and evening wear, with strong sillage and long-lasting wear typical of the collection. A newer Ambre Nuit Esprit de Parfum (2024) by Francis Kurkdjian takes the same amber idea in a spicier direction with cinnamon and cardamom, but this listing refers to the original 2009 Ambre Nuit. It suits anyone who wants a confident, rosy-amber signature scent rather than something fresh or citrus-led.
