Acqua di Parma Colonia Il Profumo reworks the house's 1916 classic Colonia into a citrus aromatic chypre with more depth and staying power. It opens with Italian bergamot, grapefruit, blood orange and petitgrain, moves into a heart of rosemary, ylang ylang and orange leaves absolute, and settles into a dry, elegant base of vetiver and patchouli. Where the original Colonia is famously light and fleeting, Il Profumo keeps the same bright, sunny Italian-citrus DNA but extends it with a more structured, slightly bitter-green vetiver-patchouli finish — a modern, higher-concentration take on a century-old formula. It's a versatile unisex fragrance for spring and summer especially, with better longevity and projection than the original Colonia while retaining its clean, sophisticated character. A Maison decant (1/2/5/10 ml) is a great way to compare Il Profumo's richer citrus-chypre profile against the classic Colonia before choosing which bottle to buy in full size. Poured from genuine Acqua di Parma stock into Maison's sealed vials.
