Essential Parfums Bois Impérial is a modern woody-spicy composition created by perfumer Quentin Bisch, part of the brand's clean, refillable Paris collection. It opens with Thai basil and Nepalese Timut pepper absolute — green, peppery and slightly citric — before settling into a smooth heart of Haitian vetiver and Georgywood, a cedar-derived molecule that gives a soft, radiant woodiness. The base leans on Akigalawood, an upcycled patchouli derivative, layered with Indonesian patchouli oil and Ambrofix for a warm, ambery, long-lasting woody trail. Bois Impérial reads as understated and versatile — sharp enough for the office, warm enough for evening, and suited to all seasons rather than one. Its clean-woods, low-sweetness profile makes it an easy, confident everyday scent for anyone who prefers precision over sweetness.
